Features / Performance
The Samsung LNT1954H is very small by today’s standards; however it packs a big punch in terms of features and performance. This little Samsung LCD TV offers some pretty impressive features for a TV of this size and price range; for instance, it offers an HDMI port as well as a PC input connection. Not too shabby for a TV designed for the kids room. In addition, it also supports component video In/Out connections.
Performance on the Samsung LNT1954H 19 inch LCD HDTV Monitor is really not too bad at all; of course, you can’t expect the TV to perform like its much larger and more advanced bigger siblings. However, the TV does offer a very adequate 800:1 contrast ratio, which provides for very good overall picture clarity and definition.
Color display and reproduction was good, but not exactly excellent or outstanding; but, that is to be expected. This LCD TV provides adequate brightness level, and viewing in well lit areas should not be much of a problem. Moreover, this TV is a lifesaver if your children are really into their Xbox or PS2 game consoles, and it does a very good job in displaying fast action games and DVD videos.
Sound on this LCD TV is, well… it is a very small TV. Therefore, if you need big sound, then you need to invest in an external stereo system. But for the kitchen or the kids room, it is more than adequate. Samsung does offer a wall mount option for this TV; however, it is not supplied with the unit and must be ordered directly from Samsung.
Conclusion
The Samsung LNT1954H 19-Inch White LCD TV is a great little LCD TV for what it was intended to be, and that is, quite simply, a cute little TV that can be used anywhere. It has good quality picture and features, and if you’re looking for TV of this size this would not be a bad choice.

This monitor offers a lot of space on its 19” screen and is suitable for almost any type of computing environment.
Pros:
Samsung SyncMaster 943N 19-inch LCD Monitor has a native 1280×10124 resolution, which is higher than some other LCD monitors in a similar price range. The monitor also offers a very fast 5ms response time that makes it suitable for fast action games and even watching DVD movies.
The Samsung SyncMaster 943N 19-inch LCD Monitor has an above average contrast ratio of 1000:1, which will make it easier to differentiate between colors displayed on a black or similar dark background. This monitor can use a DVI input, which allows for much better signal clarity versus traditional VGA connections. The overall viewing experience with this LCD was very good, but not exceptional. The picture is sharp, clear, and well defined. Also, there was no evidence of any noticeable ghosting or image blur even with action video games or when viewing DVD videos. Finally, it offers a very wide 170 degree horizontal viewing angle, which allows more than one person to comfortably view the screen at the same time.
Cons:
When viewing text, we did not find the Samsung SyncMaster 943N as crisp and accurate as some monitors in this price range.
Suitability:
This monitor was designed for those who need a big display and don’t want to spend a lot for it. Its fast 5ms response time makes it a good choice for gaming or watching videos.
Value:
Because of the Samsung SyncMaster 943N’s very inexpensive street price, this monitor should be considered a very good value. Good picture quality, ample performance and its low price make this a hard monitor to match in this price range.
Conclusion
The Samsung SyncMaster 943N 19-inch LCD Monitor is a quality large format LCD monitor that offers above average performance and adequate features, a thin profile and is very affordable. It is not the best monitor for writers or those who view text on a constant basis; however, it is a good overall daily use monitor and should be considered a very good buy. If you don’t need really high text clarity and definition then this monitor will serve you well.

Designed to help you get your work done in the office, and not really intended to be used for serious gaming or photo editing, this unit is your trusty colleague in duting your travels through Corporate America.
Features and Performance
The SyncMaster 920BM 19” LCD Monitor has everything you will ever really need in a dependable, quality office monitor, and nothing else in the way of extras or features. Its 19 inch screen size is meant to give the user adequate space for multitasking in an office environment. For instance, working on those long reports or bloated spreadsheets can be hard on the eyes; well, the 920BM LCD Monitor can help with those tasks and make them just a little easier to bear. The SyncMaster also helps reduce desk clutter, by integrating decent sounding, quality speakers that are built into the monitor, and negate your need for external speakers.
In addition, the SyncMaster 920BM monitor offers a 160 degree wide viewing angle, which allows two or more people to view the screen simultaneously without eye-strain or glare. It is not a particularly fast LCD monitor, but, the SyncMaster 920BM’s response time of 5ms is adequate and respectable is able to aptly handle those high speed animations and presentations.
One area of weakness that we noticed in the SyncMaster 920BM was the unit’s high dot pitch; at .294mm this is considerably higher than we would have liked to have seen in this monitor. Regardless, text imaging is very good, and more than adequate for most installations. A lower dot pitch would have placed this monitor on a completely different level.
The 920BM’s color and brightness display performance was very good and colors are displayed in a deep and realistic manner. Shades of black, white and grey are displayed very well. The monitor produces very good RGB or Pantone color matches to output devices such as ink-printers or PDF printing software.
Another area where the SyncMaster performed admirably was in its very low power consumption levels, which enables it to use much less energy and electricity than others in its price range.
Conclusion
The Samsung SyncMaster 920BM 19” LCD Monitor is a dependable and durable LCD monitor that offers good performance and reliability at a very affordable price.
