Most Popular LCD TVs – The Samsung LN32B360 32” Inch 720p LCD HDTV

Introduction

Today, I get the opportunity to review another outstanding Samsung TV. The Samsung LN32B360 32” 720p LCD HDTV is another in a long line of Samsung’s famous high performance LCD televisions that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. But can they really create a great value television that can compete with the more expensive 1080p enabled TVs? Today, we find out.

Features/Performance

I don’t understand how Samsung can produce an LCD TV with this many features and this kind of amazing picture quality and performance, and do it all for a price under $500. It just boggles the mind. Yet, they have and I must admit it makes you wonder why some TVs are so much more expensive. The picture display quality of the Samsung LN32B360 is quite remarkable; its colors are rich, vibrant and natural. Also, it displays shades of black, white and gray with great accuracy, depth and definition.

The Samsung 32” HDTV has very fast refresh rates and response times; moreover, I could not notice any hint of ghosting or motion blur when watching intense action video games and movies. This TV would make an excellent large format gaming monitor.

There are plenty of connection options on the LN32B360, and it gives you two HDMI ports and one component video out connection. I have yet to see another TV in this price range that offers a second HDMI; however, and I am sure other manufacturers will have to take Samsung’s lead soon.

The remote control that comes with the LN32B360 is very well built, well designed and thoughtfully laid out. The remote allows access to the TVs many menu features; and recognizes and configures external devices easily and quickly. Sound quality from the TV from was also above average.

The Samsung LN32B360 32” 720p LCD TV is a great TV, but there are a couple of things that it could have been better. The TV doesn’t have an S-Video interface and does not provide a picture in picture feature. If it would have had just those two additional features, I would be begging for one myself (still might).

Conclusion

If you are looking for an outstanding value in a television, then the Samsung LN32B360 LCD TV might just be for you. A great picture, high end performance and a low price make it hard to beat.
