Best of the Best – Samsung LN46B650 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

Introduction

To date, I have tested and reviewed many LCD and Plasma televisions, and the Samsung LN46B650 is one of my absolute favorites. I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Samsung LN46B650 LCD HDTV, and I will really hate to see it go. I just keep hoping the vendor will forget they sent it to be reviewed and won’t send a call tag for it. Well, I can dream, can’t I?

Features/ Performance

In case you haven’t figured it out already, this is the best 46 inch LCD TV I have ever had the pleasure of having in my lab. And don’t get me started about features! Oh boy! The Samsung LN46B650 46” flat LCD has more features, bells and whistles and just plain stuff than any television I’ve ever seen. I wish I could tell you about all of the features, but there are just too many; so, I’ve picked out a few that I think make the most difference.

Needless to say, with a HDTV of this quality level you should expect more than enough connection ports, and the LN46B650 in no way lets you down there. It has HDMI, D-Sub, VGA, USB, component video, and way too many more to try and type into a list; so, let’s just say that it has a connector or port for what you need to connect.

Performance on the Samsung LN46B650 46 inch flat HDTV is like OMG freakin’ awesome! I was watching ‘Star Wars Episode 1’ HD-DVD and I promise you that it looked better on this TV than it did in the theatre. The LN46B650 displaying of colors is simply superb. There is zero ghosting and no blur whatsoever. I really don’t know what else to say about the performance of this TV. There are MAYBE two, possibly three, very, very expensive plasma TVs that offers a picture as good as the one displayed by this TV. No other LCD comes close.

Samsung’s new Medi 2.0 component for displays Internet content on your television; it pulls content from Yahoo, Flickr and other online sites that support widgets. Furthermore, you can even access pictures, video and other media located on your PC directly from your TV, using just the remote. That Samsung can offer this TV for under $2000 is simply unreal.

Conclusion

Do you have to ask? I really like this TV. I strongly recommend it. So, buy me one too!
